Crab Corner Maryland Seafood House

This was the best dining experience in quite a while. Everything from the atmosphere to the service was really good. The food was really good even though I think the shrimp is frozen pieces fried as well as the catfish along with the oysters for happy hour being kind of small. We ordered the grilled salmon, fried chicken wings with old bay seasoning, shrimp and fried catfish poboy with old bay chips and 20 char grilled oysters. I highly recommend.

Lobster roll had that lobster deep in the roll, other than the end bites with extra bread, the rest had a good proportion of lobster to bread and good flavor. Fries were really tasty too, good seasoning, texture and crunch and soft. Crab cake was delicious and more filling than it looks. I'm a big fan of crab cakes and this didn't disappoint. I enjoyed the flavor and texture. Garlic bread was nothing special, but good. The seafood gumbo, oh my goodness, so freaking yummy. My son got this and after tasting it I wish I had shared a bowl with him for an appetizer. He got the cup and it was quite filling for him that he barely ate half his food. Catfish, not my favorite. My son liked it but I thought it was really bland, especially compared to my crab cake. I've hooked catfish fried and baked and always have had more flavor. The texture was fine, they just need to keep working on this recipe or maybe it requires sauce. The corn side was awesome, good flavor and two (!) half pieces. It had a seasoning on it that was tasty but not over powering. The potato side was fine, nothing special. Brussel sprouts were over cooked, not bad and flavor was fine but could have been firmer. The service: Our waitress was attentive and food came out quickly and warm. She came back with refills on water and sauces and was pleasant.

I just had dinner here and it was such a great experience! The seafood was very fresh and the prices are quite reasonable. The staff were polite and welcoming — the lovely waitress with blue hair even put on gloves and personally showed us how to crack the crabs. Oysters were only $1 each, which is amazing! The seafood chowder was rich and flavorful, and the shrimp Caesar salad was also delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

My wife and I tried out this place during their happy hour. We ordered their oysters small but very good, Angus beef sliders comes with house made potatoe chips, chickens wings with ole bay seasoning, and Annapolis crab dip which was fantastic. Would have tried their blue crabs but sold out. If that tells you anything.
